The purpose of this book is for the reader to view both matters of God and evil through God’s eyes.

How does one do that? Through the lens of Holy Scripture. One must have a divine perspective in order to manage both of these matters in their proper tension.

Through the revelation of God’s word, one’s understanding is enlightened, and hope will begin to fill your soul. Allow this brief manuscript to serve as your tour guide. The writer asks the reader to open their mind like a parachute so that hopefully one will finally understand why God’s goodness and evil co-exist.

MEET THE AUTHOR
Delvin began writing poetry in high school in his creative writing class. He abandoned writing for fifteen years until the “writing bug” grabbed him again on his birthday in 1999. He published his first book entitled “Manna from Hoover’s Son” in 2004. It is a collection of axioms, proverbs and poems. Delvin's latest offering is "The Goodness of God and The Reality of Evil which was published in October 2022. In it he argues why God allows evil to exist despite how tragic and painful it is. Delvin started blogging and turned it into a ministry in 2011 entitled “The Gospel of Repentance”. To date, the blog has over 300 hundred articles and over 100,000 views. In March 2017 Delvin expanded his ministry and began podcasting the Gospel of Repentance message. He can be found on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Amazon Music and more.

Delvin and his wife Candice have been married for 27 years. They have two daughters, Lauren-Ashley 29, and Andrea 25.
